ARENAC COUNTY, Mich. — A Sterling firefighter is in critical condition after being struck and pinned between a vehicle and a fire truck while working at the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Jan. 11.
Sterling Area Fire Department Fire Chief Jason Rice posted on social media that the firefighter was injured while on the scene of multiple crashes on I-75.
A firefighter working with Arenac County Emergency Management told WNEW that the injured firefighter had been pinned between a car and a fire truck.
The Arenac County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.
