Welcome to The SAS Files: Interview with Keith Nell – Off the Books Covert Operations.

Nell tells how he was successful in his objective of separating the insurgents from the population, and the people he led greatly trusted him. He felt he could not just leave, or they would go back to their old ways. Eventually, they got to the point where they could go on operations by themselves without fear of going AWOL.

He recalls one method he used of dispatching his adversary’s lookouts…he would have a woman walk past them and smile, and while the guy was checking her out, his man shot him with a .38 special at fairly close range.
