Springfield Armory announced a new pistol that genuinely qualifies as a duty pistol. Called the Echelon, the new 9mm pistol offers a lot of features including a unique way of mounting a red dot.
I think this gun offers a lot for law enforcement agencies including:
- a universal red dot mounting system that doesn’t need plates
- a fire control unit that allows for different size frame
- true ambidextrous controls
- the best sights on any duty gun
- the famous Adaptive Grip Texture
- 17-round flush fitting magazines and included 20-rounders
